The Way of Love: Practices for a Jesus-Centered Life
The Rt. Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, has called our church the “Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement.” What does this mean? How might this affect our lives as followers of Jesus Christ? To help us dig into these questions, the national church has prepared an eight-week guide for reflection and discernment concerning the Way of Love, which is Jesus’s way. The first Sunday was October 6, 2019, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and the sessions will continue in the conference room downstairs at St. George’s. These meetings provide an opportunity to share in discovery, discussion, and connection around the transforming practices along the Way of Love: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, and Rest. Members of the Faith Exploration team will facilitate the conversations. Come to as many as you can! The series will end on November 24.
